Test Date Information
The information on this page is here to help you be ready for the test date. It is recommend you read this page and make sure you are ready for the test date. All the information here is to help you. If you choose to reschedule your test date please let us know.
What To Bring or do on testing day:
1. Pen or pencil
2. Application packet, and any required documentation that the packet asks for.
3. Come dressed in a outfit that will be comfortable for running and other physical activities on day 1.
4. Remember your interview starts the minute you arrive, you will be being watched.
5. Arrive at least 15 minutes earlier than the scheduled start time.
6. Act professional
7. Bring water and snacks.
8. On day two for oral boards dress professionally, we do not have a dress code for interviews, but remember you maybe interviewing with allot of people.
9. Listen closely to the instructions given for each part of the process.
What not to do or bring with you.
1. No cell phones or electronic devices. We do not allow these during any portion of the testing process. Please leave these in your vehicle.
2. No weapons. No weapons are allowed at any part of the process. Day 1 or Day 2. Please leave these in your vehicle.
3. Other than your application packet please do not bring any other paper in with you, we will give you note paper for the written exam.
4. Bring an incomplete or inaccurate packet, on any part of the application process make sure all statements or answers are truthful.
5. Do not be under the influence of alcohol or any drugs that could alter your ability to safely perform all tasks required.
6. If you have to reschedule do not just not show up contact us and let us know we can get you rescheduled for another test date. Just not showing up does not look good and could end up hurting you if you decide to try again.
Remember the test date and activities are a pass fail, and the times or numbers of things you are having to accomplish is a minimum, try and do better than the minimums as that may come into play later if we are having to break a tie of some kind. For example if it says 20 push ups don’t just stop cause you hit 20.
Make sure you warm up prior to the activities you will be given the opportunity to do this please make sure you take advantage of this, so do not hurt yourself or pull anything.
